79. Catherine Vasey: Burnout and mental load
In episode 79 of S’ouvrir à l’amour I talk with Catherine Vasey, a burnout expert, about the last indirect obstacle to Love, namely mental load and burnout. In eight years of practice it is an obstacle that comes up very often.
You can find Catherine on her website.
During the episode, I asked her the following questions in particular:
- How do you know when you are close to burnout or already in burnout?
- How do you recover from a burnout?
- How can burnout/mental overload affect our relationships in general, and our love lives more particularly?
- How can you have mental space to meet someone/be present in your couple when you feel at your limit in terms of current mental load? Is it advisable to look for Love in such a phase?
