This article is part of a series of 5 articles I wrote about the 5 wounds of the soul according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lisebourbeau.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lise Bourbeau<\/a>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-751a1b2b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"751a1b2b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div>\n<style>\n    h2 {color: #d13523;<br \/>font-size: 34px;}<br \/>  <\/style>\n<\/div>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"i\"><\/span>&nbsp;<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_wound_of_abandonment_is_related_to_doing_and_having\"><\/span>The wound of abandonment is related to doing and having<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Someone who has the wound of abandonment doubts his or her way of doing things, his or her right to have in love (not to be confounded with the wound of rejection which is based on being):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You constantly doubt your way of acting or communicating<\/li>\n<li>You doubt that you can have what you want in love<\/li>\n<li>You find it hard to have your own opinion<\/li>\n<li>You need a lot of attention<\/li>\n<li>You do everything to be loved and avoid being abandoned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In short, this wound about doing\/having blurs your inner judgment and can take on different <a href=\"https:\/\/sandykaufmann.ch\/en\/what-is-a-love-pattern\/\">patterns<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are emotionally dependent and accept everything from the other person.<\/li>\n<li>Your need for reassurance is so strong that you end up suffocating your partner.<\/li>\n<li>You get into a relationship to avoid being alone, even if you are not in love.<\/li>\n<li>You lose yourself completely in the relationship and forget your life and priorities.&nbsp;If your partner keeps his or her priorities, you feel abandoned.<\/li>\n<li>You look for the love in a relationship that you can&#8217;t give yourself.<\/li>\n<li>You give up at the slightest difficulty or do not commit to your own happiness.<\/li>\n<li>You struggle to help yourself and ask your partner for support.<\/li>\n<li>You have difficulty leaving your partner.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>You abandon partners who don&#8217;t seem strong enough.<\/li>\n<li>You lack confidence in your judgement: what should I do? is it right for me to do this? do I have the right to have and ask for what I need?<\/li>\n<li>You quickly feel a deep emptiness, a deep sadness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A simple wound can impact your love life in many ways. Thus the impact of the other in your life will be less important and your inner judgement more clear and serene about what you need to do and\/or are entitled to have.<\/p><p>You will also have to
